Great location (10 km from Dubrovnik), good hotel for relaxing rest, free parking with lots of space. We started our trip from this hotel as we like the beach rest, and this hotel is one of really very few, which lays on the beach. If you like the beach and the pool - both are good in this hotel, and you can easy combine them, as they are really in 1 step from each other. The beach shoes a must, due to pebble there! The sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge only near the pool, in the beach 2 sunbeds + 1 umbrella = 20 EUR for the hotel visitors as well. The rooms are really small, the air con is loud and creates not so much comfort, though the bed is so good, that other things are acceptable. We didn't have the fridge, this could be very helpful in Summer indeed, but we had the kettle. The wifi is enough for emails checking. I also consider the wardrobe is too small. Require the key for the safe in the reception. There is also a gym and SPA area with sauna, gym is free of charge. The continental breakfasts and dinners are fine. For the dinner you will find mandatory few kinds of meat and fish, but the quality of drinks should be improved both for breakfast and dinner, especially as for dinner the drinks are for extra payment. What I cannot understand, why the grilled meat and fish are dry. I had the same in Makarska in the hotel. Is it common? The bar serves the drinks also near the pool during the day, the price is high, but the quality is not corresponding to the price. There is a promenade along the coast, near the hotels and restaurants. There small seaport is next to the hotel, so you can buy some boats trips. In the end of the promenade (in 2-3 km) there is a small shopping mall with Super Konzum, Müller, DM, H&M, Pharmacy and few stores more. In fact, Mlini is a small cosy city and Hotel Astarea Select is сosy and homelike hotel. We really like it and on the way back to Dubrovnik airport will stay here again for last 2 nights.

location- Village of Mlini is beautiful, small, quaint and walkable with lots of restaurants and bars to stop in The hotel grounds are stunning and connect up with the village, other hotels, church and walkways, like a mini village in itself. Close to the airport- can Uber it for about £10 or taxi aboit £20 - The buffet breakfast had lots of options, but the dinner had more specific/ European options that we often didn’t like - lovely pool but unfortunately you do have to wake up early to save a bed, this isn’t staff fault but just the specific guests culture - beach is beautiful, rocky so sea shoes are a must, have to pay about £10 for a bed and umbrella but I guess that ensures the same thing doesn’t happen with the pool where people leave their towels unattended for the whole day the beach bar has lots of nice options and friendly staff. You can choose to pay at the end of your stay with 10% off

I absolutely love that my hotel room had a balcony that had a beautiful overview of the pool and the ocean and might I also add that the pool was very clean and there was enough pool beds for everyone. The breakfast was a mixture of different buffet options which is really good for someone who likes to try different things. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. For transportation to the old town Dubrovnik there was a boat taxi which ends at 20.30pm, there is also a bus station right next to the hotel entrance. There is variety of restaurants nearby. Overall If you are looking for a hotel with a pool and beach where you get to do as little as possible then this is the hotel for you. I will definitely be back.

Room was very clean and very well maintained during our stay in the Astarea Annex block. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was plenty chose for breakfast and evening meals even when busy. The Pool was excellent and always very clean and grounds well maintained to full complex. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful! Three stars looked like 4* definitely. Ok, outdoor is shaggy, a bit old, but rooms are clean, renovated, well conditioned. Very nice view in the balcony - it was "garden view", but with sea view included ;) Meal was super. So many options for breakfast and dinner! For any taste.
